Hi - I’m Kim

If you’re here, you’re probably carrying a question that’s hard to say out loud: Is this relationship right for me? Why do I keep attracting partners who hurt me? Why do I doubt myself all the time?

You may be anxious in your relationships, unsure whether to stay or go or navigating the emotional aftermath of dating people who don’t show up for you in healthy ways. Maybe you’re in a relationship with someone narcissistic—or you’re having an affair and feeling deeply conflicted. Maybe you’re in therapy because you want to do couples work, but you’re coming alone.

Whatever brought you here, I want you to know: you’re not broken, it’s not hopeless and you’re not alone.

I help women explore the heart of their relationship struggles—with curiosity, honesty and compassion.

It I’m a licensed clinical social worker with more than 20 years of experience supporting women through the messy, complex and powerful work of healing. My clients are high-functioning, deeply thoughtful women who are stuck in patterns they don’t fully understand—and tired of carrying so much self-doubt, worry and emotional pain.

My work focuses on anxiety in relationships and all the ways it shows up: overthinking, people-pleasing, avoidance, jealousy, fear of abandonment and staying too long in places that don’t feel good. I work with women who are dating and keep attracting emotionally unavailable or unhealthy partners, as well as women who want to heal from affairs or question whether to stay or leave their current relationships.

What Working with Me Is Like

Our relationship is the heart of the work. I believe the way we relate in therapy often mirrors how we relate in the outside world—so we use our relationship to practice, notice and shift the patterns that hold you back.

My style is nurturing, accepting and deeply engaged. I’m not just sitting quietly—I’m actively in dialogue with you. I ask meaningful questions. I reflect what I see. I encourage you to get honest, both with yourself and with me. I want our work to feel collaborative, alive and personal.

Together, we’ll:

  • Explore the emotional roots of your relationship patterns

  • Uncover and reframe the self-doubt that’s been a part of you for too long

  • Build your self-esteem and sense of worth from the inside out

  • Practice new ways of being close to others—starting right there, in our sessions

  • Ask you to be radically honest about what’s working and what we need to tweak in the process

The work we do is important, valuable and takes time. We don’t just deal with coping skills and the symptoms you’re feeling. We work to help you gain insight and understand yourself on a deep level.

My Session Fees

My fee for a 50-minute session is $185. I also see clients for sibling therapy and for 75, 90 and 120-minute sessions. I meet with clients in-person and online. Please see the Fees and FAQ’s page for more information.

What My Clients Say

My clients have described our work together as deeply impactful. Sometimes it’s tough. Sometimes it’s tender. Often, it’s warm and nurturing. And when it’s time to celebrate your growth—I’ll be right there cheering alongside you.

Clients often share that they value having someone who really knows them—who remembers the names and relationships that shape their lives, who tracks their emotional world over time, and who helps them accept and transform the relational struggles they once felt stuck inside.

Why I Became a Therapist

Therapy was a turning point in my life. It shaped who I’ve become as a person and as a therapist. I became a therapist because I’m passionate about giving that same opportunity to other women—helping them remember who they are and guiding them toward strength, clarity and authenticity in their lives.

My background includes work in community mental health, trauma support, the judiciary, hospital systems and private practice. I also supervise future therapists, have taught in academic settings and served as a mental health expert for Channel 31 in Denver. But no matter the role, at the core of all this is one passion: helping women to untangle old patterns, connect with who they really are and step into emotional strength and freedom.
