Are you happy and fulfilled in your most important relationships?

  • Anxiety: Are you an anxious person who feels stress about relationships in general? You may second guess what you say or do; ruminate about perceived mistakes, feel scared to commit or find it difficult to trust yourself or others.

  • Relationship Issues: Are you in a committed relationship, but wonder if things could be better? Maybe there’s a lot of fighting, there’s been a betrayal or you don’t feel heard or understood.

  • ·Self-esteem: Are you your own worst enemy? If you’re perfectionistic, extremely critical or hard on yourself, it impacts your ability to show up in an authentic way, set boundaries and ask for what you want and need in your relationships.

Are you struggling with:

    • Are you and your partner constantly fighting without any sense of resolution?

    • Can your spouse or partner sometimes be mean, scary or explosive?

    • Do you feel unfulfilled or uncertain you want to stay in your marriage or partnership?

    • Do you feel anxious about social situations and ruminate about everything you said and did - questioning if if was okay?

    • Do you struggle with trust in relationships or have a fear of commitment? Maybe you keep picking the wrong partner or need support in the process in dating.

    • Do you question your self-worth or believe you don’t deserve to have a happy and fulfilling life?

    • Have you been hurt or betrayed in the past and can’t shake the feeling that somehow you deserved it?

    • Do you constantly criticize yourself and expect perfection - only from yourself?

Our approach to therapy

Our comprehensive approach to therapy combines psychodynamic theory and cognitive-behavioral therapy for depth work combined with here-and-now tools and coping skills.

Psychodynamic therapy focuses on helping you gain a deeper understanding of your patterns of being in relationship with yourself and others (both consciously and unconsciously) and determining where those patterns originated and how they impact your current relationships.

Psychodynamic therapy is a great fit for high-functioning, insightful women who want to better understand their emotional struggles, relationship patterns and attachment style while identifying underlying motivations and conflicts.

Cognitive-behavioral therapy focuses on how our thoughts impact our feelings and behaviors. It emphasizes self-awareness and skill-building, enabling you to improve emotional regulation, develop coping strategies, improve communication skills and develop effective assertiveness skills.

We believe:

That you are inherently deserving of healthy, loving relationships.

That the best investment you can make is in yourself.

That understanding something “isn’t quite right” opens the door to creating a life that reflects who you and what’s important to you.
